….by the beauty! Spent two hours wandering around Schreiner’s Iris Gardens. It was a perfect day to take flower images….over cast with a few sprinkles. A group of painters from Eugene were enjoying the gardens “plien aire” while I photographed them creating their art. The irises bloomed a bit early this year because of the recent warm weather. Columbine flowers in all colors were tucked everywhere and the clematis….the brightest purple you have ever seen! Wisteria was draped elegantly from large bushes and the Japanese poppies were the brightest red and the Allium hot, hot, hot. On the way out I met the two resident dogs…Woody and old but frisky Golden Retriever and Joey, a scrappy scruffy guy. Enjoy the slide show…I know there are lots of images this time, but I was truly overwhelmed by the beauty of the day.
