Lights! Camera! Bokeh!

Bokeh 9What a great setting to have fun with bokeh!   Mission Mill at the Heritage Center in Salem, OR is all decked out with cool Christmas lights.  The Thomas Kay Woolen Mill is a beautiful building without the lights but shines even brighter this time of year.
Shooting bokeh is so much fun.  My English friend got me started and I can see how it can be as addictive as shooting water drops or oil and water.  Manually throwing the camera’s focus out of focus creates these cool images.  And focusing on a subject in front of the lights (like I did with the picture of my husband) creates a neat portrait.  Bokeh baby!!!
