Rainy, cold winter days in Oregon are not a photographer’s best friend. So while running errands today, I decided to search for some COLOR. I got lucky and found a parking spot half a block away from a locally owned shop called “Sugar Sugar”. At least I only had to brave the rain for about a minute. I visited the shop a little over a year ago and was surprised to find a store full of candy. The owner has since added cupcakes and bakes them on-site. Talk about a homey aroma! She told me her shop will be featured in “Sunset” magazine next year…ahhhh to have had the chance to take photos of her creations for that publication. Sigh….but I guess I’ll just have to settle for posting them here.
