It’s All About The Perspective

I’m obsessed with taking pictures of oil and water (and water drops at the faucet), but I’m fascinated by fences.  It’s either all about the perspective or it’s because of the graphic design with neat lines or squares.  I could never draw, not even a straight line without a ruler. So I really like to look down at a fence line and because I tend to shoot wide open (shallow depth of field) the fences look like they go on forever.
And if I look at them straight on they sometimes become an abstract. Scroll down -hopefully you will start looking at fences as works of art. Enjoy!

  1. Really like your fence shots. I grew up in a rural area south of Eugene and remember dealing with fences of all types. Your shots bring back memories of wandering miles from home crossing neighbors’ fences on the way.
