Crepes with cheese, onions and bacon……a sunny day….fabulous art in a wonderful park….the hospitality of Carlton, Oregon….gorgeous classic cars (ours included!)….and music. Seriously, could there be a better way to spend a Sunday?
Chef and proprietor Gilbert Henry from Cuvee a French bistro in Carlton served up a sumptuous crepe. My husband opted for a huge burrito with rice and beans. I enjoyed the sounds of Rio Con Brio a duo consisting of an acoustical mandolin (how many times have you heard a mandolin much less an acoustical one) and an acoustical guitar. Great Brazilian inspired tunes. We bought two of their CDs.
And, later in the day Curtis Salgado…Oregon’s own…great blues. Wow. And not to mention the art….top notch! I bought a really cool painted on acrylic cuff bracelet. Oh, and the cars weren’t too bad either. Only about 40 but all there by invitation only. Sigh.

almost every one of these in Spring. definitely. I love the little thumbsucker, the quilts (to go with the aprons), the musicians Spring Intermezzo, Spring Interlude, Spring Concerto???
I’m liking Spring Intermezzo. This is the event in Carlton I was telling you about…it’s wonderful.
